Named Initiatives
These are the partners AltarStone Training Institute works alongside. Each meets a real need today, and each helps shape a department of the institute now being built. The work is theirs. The Institute is the vehicle that carries it forward.

PARTNER · DISASTER RELIEF & PREPAREDNESS
United Rescue Alliance
United Rescue Alliance trains and equips sustainable leaders in emergency management, empowering communities in disaster preparedness and creating a structure that builds community resiliency.
It's not a matter of if a disaster will strike, but when. When we are prepared, we can help those in need.
United Rescue Alliance is the curriculum behind the Department of Humanitarian Aid & Disaster Response at AltarStone Training Institute, and its work is the pilot of that department. It works in partnership with MESSH and Watts of Love.
PARTNER · SOLAR HEADLAMPS
Watts of Love
Watts of Love brings light, love, and hope to diverse communities while respecting local cultures and beliefs, with a goal to light the entire world.
Their vision is to end generational poverty, and it starts with a solar light. Their mission is to raise people out of the darkness of poverty by equipping them with the knowledge and tools to achieve self-worth and financial freedom.
Watts of Love works alongside United Rescue Alliance.

PARTNER · WITH OPEN SCHOOLS WORLDWIDE
Kusoma Tu: Literacy & Numeracy
Kusoma Tu, with Open Schools Worldwide, brings hope to marginalized children and youth ages 7 to 18 through non-traditional educational interventions that reflect God's love and compassion. It helps children understand their value as image-bearers of God, equips them with literacy, numeracy, and life skills, and offers them hope for the future.
Christ-centered and biblically based, the work moves through licensed local partners, trained tutors, and a “school-in-a-bag” approach that can be held anywhere, from under a tree to a classroom, so that children denied traditional opportunities can learn, grow, and experience God's love in practical, transformative ways.
PARTNER · ENTERPRISE & DIGNITY
Bibi's Business
Bibi's Business is a seven-session training course equipping current and aspiring entrepreneurs with the skills to launch and grow their businesses: business planning, mission and values, marketing, finance, and strategic planning, completed alongside the Coram Deo worldview class.
Classes are kept small, ten participants, to encourage interaction and peer support. Every participant develops a comprehensive Strategic Plan, earns the 3P Certificate of Achievement, and commits to sharing their learning with others, so that each business built becomes a blessing to its community.

PARTNER · AGRICULTURE FOR FOOD SECURITY
Farming God's Way
Farming God's Way is not an organization but a freely available tool: an amazing solution to the food security and poverty crisis facing agricultural communities, built on some of the oldest technologies on the planet, the laws the Creator set in place to govern His creation.
And the Lord God planted a garden toward the east in Eden … and out of the ground the Lord God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food.
GENESIS 2:8-9
God Himself was the first farmer, and as Creator, He is also the Master Farmer. Farming God's Way weaves three spheres, Biblical, Management, and Technology, into one practice that feeds families and restores land.
