“From beyond the rivers of Cush, my worshippers … will bring me offerings.”
ZEPHANIAH 3:10 · TURKANA, KENYA

Living stone by living stone.
Ujenzi oo-GEN-zee is Swahili for “building.” It is our name and our mandate. Throughout Scripture, God has always built through altars, offerings, and surrendered lives: living sacrifices, laid on altars of prayer (Romans 12:1). The Kingdom of God is not ultimately built with bricks and mortar. It is built through living stones.
Ujenzi exists to build: to see the marginalized, and the nations of Africa, come out of poverty into their God-given destiny, equipped, established, and sent as ambassadors to their generation.
THE WORK ON THE GROUND

Equipping the Saints
We equip the saints to build the Kingdom of God across Africa and the nations through Spirit-filled leadership, endorsed education, apostolic ministry, and indigenous institutional development in alignment with Israel. Local leaders raise up local leaders at graduation centers across Africa, and the AltarStone Training Institute is now rising to carry that formation forward. The most influential training a person can receive is an encounter with Jesus Himself.

Israel: Reconciliation & Alignment
We believe the destiny of Africa and the destiny of Israel are bound together. We build that bond through partnership, teaching, and the Israel-Africa Summit.

Beyond the Classroom
Disaster relief, literacy and numeracy, agriculture, and enterprise. United Rescue Alliance is piloting the Department of Humanitarian Aid & Disaster Response, and each partner meets a real need today while helping shape a department of the institute tomorrow.
PRAY. LEARN. BUILD.
Pray: Build the Altar
Before anything is built, an altar is raised. Join us in prayer for Africa, Israel, and the nations, and for the leaders who carry the work on the ground. (Psalm 141:2)
Learn: Lay the Foundation
A house stands on what is understood. Discover the biblical story of Africa and Israel, and God's purposes for the nations. (Proverbs 24:3-4)
Build: Bring the Offering
God's house has always been built by willing hearts. Give your time, skills, and gifts as God stirs your heart: take a seat at The Builder's Table to carry our stateside work, or become one of our Rafiki Friends to support approved programs in Kenya, Israel, and among the nations. (Exodus 35:21)
ONE STORY

“Where you come from does not determine how far God can take you.”
Nicklix Ochieng Osumba · Pastor and Facilitator · Lodwar, Turkana County, Kenya
Nicklix was a boda-boda rider and solar installer in Lodwar with a hunger to know God's Word and the Holy Spirit. Trained under The Garden Apostolic Training Center, which has grown into AltarStone Training Institute, he is now an ordained pastor and a facilitator, taking the training to the hardest places, including West Pokot, where the Gospel is crossing an old tribal divide.
… a ministry of reconciliation, transformation and hope.

We do not view giving as transaction. We view it as worship.
Every offering matters. Every surrendered yes becomes another living stone laid upon the altar of what God is building among the nations.
The invitation of Ujenzi is not simply to observe the vision. It is to bring your offering to the altar.
